About the Friends

The Friends of Darcy Library meet the second Wednesday each month at 5:15pm to discuss ways to support and contribute to Darcy Library -- including organizing annual fundraisers such as the Cookie & Book Sales at the Trailhead Building. Even if you're able to make part of a meeting or will just be stopping over in the summer, we're happy to have you join us. The Darcy Friends support the library and its programs with their time and efforts, including raising up to $10,000 each year to help keep the library collection well-stocked with new books and DVDs and to help bolster programs such as Summer Reading and Off the Page. If you'd like to learn more about the Friends, particularly if you're a frequent Darcy visitor, please do come to a meeting or read through some of our recent newsletters (see below).
